For over 15 years I’ve worked in both agency and client-side roles. While working agency side I have been excited by the range of sectors and varied nature of the creative I’ve produced. Within my in-house roles I’ve pushed the boundaries of what is usually expected, using my approach to creative to influence ways of thinking within the organisations I’ve worked in.
My approach is methodical. Assess the brief and re-present my own interpretation of it to sense check, gain feedback and extra information where necessary, then onto the concepts and visuals.
I’m collaborator, building relationships with colleagues, suppliers and direct reports and throughout my career I’ve managed and created small multidisciplinary teams producing smooth and efficient work-flows with great creative output. I take a holistic approach to management nurturing staff into engagement by encouraging development and progression where possible and by listening and responding to issues in a timely manner and leading by example.
A good working environment is essential, you’re at work for a large part of your life, so it’s got to be enjoyable!
